  • Construction Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and over 10 years experience

About Me

With over 10 years of experience in construction management as a project manager, I have overseen diverse projects, including the construction of wind turbines in Texas and Oklahoma. My expertise also extends to residential rehab construction, having worked on numerous projects across the United States. I hold a degree in mechanical engineering, which complements my analytical skills and passion for the field. Growing up in Mission Viejo and living in Aliso Viejo for seven years, I have deep local roots and a strong commitment to my community.

I have been in construction management for over a decade & hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California Maritime Academy. Throughout my career I have worked on everything from wind turbines and houses to coffee shops and gas infrastructure, in California as well as many others such as Texas, Virginia and Florida. Doing so has honed many skills which will enable us to get our budget under control, improve our biking infrastructure & public transit system.

Collaboration, bringing folks with competing interests together to accomplish a common goal. Balancing the needs of everyone to work through the problems and once everything is said and done they are ready and willing to do it all over again.

Scheduling & Budgeting, working out all the various parts which must fit together and function like a well-oiled machine. Managing expectations, obtaining commitments, and providing realistic forecasts are key to correctly managing large projects and organizations.

But above all is my ability to build trust and confidence. I follow through on my commitments, I push back when needed, and I own my faults. Trust is a hard thing to earn but I will work hard to gain the trust of the citizens of Aliso Viejo.
