Here are my concerns I want to address in our city

To achieve better control over our budget, we are focusing on securing additional grants from state and federal governments for essential infrastructure and other critical projects. By trimming unnecessary spending and optimizing our project planning, we aim to enhance efficiency and maximize the impact of our resources.

Ensuring the safety of both regular and electric bike riders, as well as pedestrians, requires the addition of essential infrastructure such as extended bike lanes, off-road bike trail connections, and protected bike lanes. Education plays a crucial role in this effort, encompassing clear signage, informative classes, community meetings, and extensive outreach in schools and public forums. Through these measures, we can promote safe and accessible biking for everyone.

To make our public transit system more accessible and usable for a broader audience, we are focusing on strategic planning to identify areas with the highest need. This includes connecting existing bus routes to create a more cohesive network and increasing the frequency of buses to reduce wait times. By doing our homework and targeting improvements where they are most needed, we aim to provide a more efficient and reliable transit system for all.
